The most well-attended and exciting chess tournament in the club’s history concluded with unprecedented success, bringing together 348 participants and featuring the star appearances of the world number 72 and another Grandmaster with a rating of over 2600, as well as six other Grandmasters and a further 51 masters across various master categories. plus several international title holders, in an event organised entirely by long-standing members on a voluntary basis, which fills us with satisfaction and motivation to keep improving with every edition.
